Recover Your Organization ID, Username, or Password

If you can’t sign in to ALTR because you don’t know your organization ID or username, or you’ve forgotten your password, request a recovery email from the ALTR login page.

Your organization ID identifies your tenant and must be entered each time you sign in to ALTR. It also forms the subdomain used to reach the ALTR UI. Your username is a case-sensitive identifier set when your account is created.

To request the recovery email from the ALTR login page:

  1. Click Don’t know your Organization ID?
  2. Enter the email address associated with your ALTR account.
  3. Click Submit.

To request the recovery email from an organization-specific login page:

  1. Click Forgot your Username?
  2. Enter the email address associated with your ALTR account.
  3. Click Submit.

If that email address is tied to any ALTR account, ALTR emails you a message listing every organization ID and username associated with it. Each organization ID in the message links to its organization-specific login page.

Reset a forgotten password from your organization’s ALTR login page using a password reset email.

To request a reset email:

  1. Go to your organization’s ALTR login page.
  2. Click Forgot Password.
  3. Enter your ALTR username.
  4. Click Submit. If the username is valid, ALTR sends a reset link to that user’s email address.

To set a new password from the email:

  1. Click the link in the reset email.
  2. Enter a new password. It must be 8 to 64 characters and include at least one capital letter, one number, and one special character.
  3. Confirm the new password.
  4. Click Submit.
