Allowlist ALTR Emails
ALTR sends transactional emails for account operations such as account confirmations, password resets, two-factor authentication codes, and security notifications. To ensure these emails reach your inbox, add ALTR’s sending domain to your email allowlist.
ALTR Sending Address

Types of Emails ALTR Sends
Section titled “Types of Emails ALTR Sends”ALTR sends the following types of transactional emails:
- Account confirmation— Sent when a new administrator account is created.
- Password reset— Sent when you request a password reset.
- Two-factor authentication codes— Sent when email-based 2FA is enabled for your account.
- Security notifications— Sent to notify you of significant account or security events.
- Access notifications— Sent when data access requests are submitted or approved.
How to Allowlist ALTR Emails
Section titled “How to Allowlist ALTR Emails”The steps to allowlist a sender domain vary by email provider. The following guidance covers the most common providers.
Gmail (Google Workspace)
Section titled “Gmail (Google Workspace)”- Open Gmail and click the gear icon to open Settings.
- Click See all settings, then select the Filters and Blocked Addresses tab.
- Click Create a new filter.
- In the From field, enter
@flare.altr.com. - Click Create filter, then check Never send it to Spam.
- Click Create filter to save.
For organization-wide allowlisting, a Google Workspace administrator can add flare.altr.com to the approved senders list under Apps > Google Workspace > Gmail > Spam, Phishing and Malware.
Microsoft Outlook / Exchange Online
Section titled “Microsoft Outlook / Exchange Online”- In Outlook, navigate to Settings > View all Outlook settings > Mail > Junk email.
- Under Safe senders and domains, click Add.
- Enter
flare.altr.comand click Save.
For organization-wide allowlisting, a Microsoft 365 administrator can add flare.altr.com to the Anti-spam policy allowed sender domains list in the Microsoft 365 Defender portal.
Other Email Providers
Section titled “Other Email Providers”For all other email clients and providers, add flare.altr.com as a safe sender domain. Consult your email provider’s documentation for specific steps.
Development and Staging Environments
Section titled “Development and Staging Environments”If your organization evaluates ALTR in a non-production environment, emails from those environments are sent from noreply@flare-dev.altr.com. If needed, add flare-dev.altr.com to your allowlist as well.
