New Features
Section titled “New Features”Databricks
Section titled “Databricks”ALTR now supports Google DLP classification for Databricks. When triggered, ALTR samples a small amount of random data from each column—without storing any data—to identify sensitive information. Learn more.
Classification may take a few minutes, depending on the size of your metastore.
Enhancements
Section titled “Enhancements”Snowflake
Section titled “Snowflake”- Snowflake Partner Connect (SPC) has been updated to only use key-pair authentication. Users can no longer use password authentication when creating an ALTR account through SPC.
- Added modals to handle various scenarios and improve the user experience when using format-preserving encryption.
- We have improved classification report messaging. When a classification scan finishes with no findings, the report now includes a message to indicate that it completed successfully but returned no results.
