Monitor Repository Activity

Monitor queries run through the sidecar using audit logs. This allows you to know how data users are accessing a repository.

ALTR captures query-level telemetry from the sidecar, providing visibility into who is accessing your data, when, and what queries they are running. This data feeds into the activity monitoring dashboard and the system audit log.

Use repository monitoring to:

• Track query volume and patterns for each repository connected through a sidecar.
• Identify which database users are accessing sensitive data.
• Detect anomalies such as unexpected query spikes or access from new IP addresses.
• Support compliance audits with detailed query-level evidence.
